The best Tubi original! And it’s still not very good! But it is hilarious! One of the funniest endings and if you’ve seen it (which is unlikely) you’ll be like “what is wrong with you?”

I’m short: The only good things to come out of Kansas City — are the Chiefs and barbecue sauce.
Definitely not this movie.Knock off Luke Wilson, Kirk Fox, plays the Devil in this FaustianTubi Original.Like, the movie starts with Robert Johnson selling his soul to him, as he’s dressed in period appropriate Chinese garb — you know, fer reasons.
Then we get to present time and it’s, basically, ‘A History of Violence’ meets ‘Taken’, with supernatural bits thrown in — butshittier.
Also, the one star is fer the machine gun acoustic guitar.

All I'll say is that the Skibidi Toilet's got some competition.

I like the idea of this movie but you can tell it was a low budget. Has its bad moments but also not too shabby moments.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The Devil Comes to Kansas City is an odd movie with an inconsistent tone to its narrative that ultimately ends with it being one big morality play with the Devil pontificate about how Hell consists of humans ultimately consumed by too much of their own ego.
I think it's safe to theorize that the director conducted his story with an anti-vigilantism/anti-revenge bent, rallying against stories that lionized the typical Hollywood's "ex-black ops/mercenary/bad ass that goes on a killing spree to avenge/save their loved ones" ala Taken, Death Wish, etc. And he carried that message through several ways that, I think, harmed the movie more than it helped.
The primary example is that the protagonist, played by Ben Gavin, utterly incompetent.…

The Best Tubi Original!

a diamond in the rough. this was my first time watching a tubi original and all i can say is i will be watching more. this felt so grindhouse. so original and quirky. violence, magical realism, a crime syndicate, and a guitar that shoots fucking arrows. what's not to like?
plus the casting and wardrobe department really knew how to make these characters look iowan. so glad that nobody was doing a ridiculous southern accent as the midwest is sometimes portrayed. i do think that if it was gonna be really realistic, the main character's wife and child would've been driving to des moines for a night at the theatre. i guess the devil comes to des moines didn't have…
